This Cookie Policy explains how Colabrador, Inc., the company that operates StudentSquad, uses cookies and similar browser technologies on the marketing websites where this policy is displayed. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, service-worker storage, and identifiers sent through website tags. These technologies can remember preferences, provide website functions, measure use, and support advertising.
How consent works
Our marketing-site consent manager applies settings according to the visitor’s location. In strict opt-in locations, optional services remain disabled until the visitor enables them. In other locations, optional services may be enabled on a first visit, and the visitor can opt out. A saved decline or later change takes priority over the regional first-visit setting.
You can reopen Consent Preferences on the website at any time to enable or disable optional services. Disabling a service prevents it from loading on later page views and removes first-party cookies that the consent manager is configured to recognize. A page reload may be required to unload a script that was already active.
Necessary marketing-site technologies
Klaro Consent Manager
Klaro stores the klaro-consent cookie on .studentsquad.com for up to 365 days. It records privacy preferences across StudentSquad subdomains. This preference storage is necessary to remember a visitor’s choices and cannot be disabled through the consent panel.
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is the required tag-delivery mechanism on StudentSquad. It initializes Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage denied before evaluating tags. Tag Manager does not receive a separate optional-cookie purpose; the Analytics and Ads choices below control the Google storage permissions associated with those services.
WordPress administration
Anonymous visits to the public landing pages do not currently require a general WordPress visitor cookie. WordPress may set wordpress_test_cookie when an administrator opens the login page to determine whether the browser accepts cookies. Authenticated administrators may also receive WordPress login and security cookies. These administrator cookies are not used for anonymous marketing-site tracking.
Optional services
Google Analytics — Analytics
Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate website use and improve the site. When enabled, it may use first-party identifiers including _ga and related GA4 cookies and sends analytics events to Google. The Analytics choice controls the Google Consent Mode analytics_storage permission.
Google Ads — Marketing
Google Ads helps measure advertising and conversion activity. When enabled by the applicable regional first-visit setting or by the visitor, it may use advertising and conversion identifiers, including _gcl_au and related Google storage. The Marketing choice controls ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization.
Microsoft Clarity — Analytics
Microsoft Clarity provides interaction analytics such as session replays and heatmaps. When enabled, it may use identifiers including _clck, _clsk, and related Clarity storage. Clarity is controlled independently and does not change Google Consent Mode settings.
Calendly — Functionality
Calendly provides the optional scheduling calendar on the Contact page. When Calendly is enabled, the browser loads content from Calendly and Calendly may create third-party cookies or browser storage under its own policies. The normal contact form remains available without Calendly.
YouTube — Functionality
YouTube provides the optional StudentSquad walkthrough video using the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com host. The iframe is not loaded until the visitor enables the video. YouTube or Google may create cookies or browser storage after the embed is activated or the video is played.
Third-party privacy information
Third parties control their own technologies and may change names, behavior, or retention periods. Browser and account settings offered by those providers may provide additional controls.
StudentSquad web application storage
The StudentSquad web application uses necessary browser storage for authentication, session continuity, offline or application data, security, and preferences. This necessary browser storage is separate from the optional marketing-site services listed above and is not controlled by the marketing site’s Consent Preferences. A more detailed application storage inventory is maintained with the application.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data. Blocking necessary storage may prevent consent preferences, authentication, or other requested features from working. Browser controls operate separately from our Consent Preferences.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
