MSC Central Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how the MSC Central web experience uses cookies, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies. It supplements the MSC Central Privacy Notice and is a disclosure rather than a separate contract.
In this policy, “Provider” means Murray State College and Colabrador, Inc. collectively. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Provider.
The MSC Central web experience is offered only to users located in the United States and is not directed to users elsewhere. Do not access the web experience from outside the United States.
1. Technologies used
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Local storage and similar browser or application storage can retain identifiers, settings, or state without using a traditional cookie. Software development kits may perform comparable functions within a mobile or web application.
2. Why MSC Central uses these technologies
Strictly necessary and security
MSC Central may use cookies or similar storage to maintain authentication, preserve session state, route requests, prevent fraud and abuse, protect accounts, balance traffic, and provide requested features. Disabling these technologies may prevent MSC Central from working.
Preferences and functionality
MSC Central may retain language, accessibility, display, notification, organization, and other settings so they do not need to be selected repeatedly.
Performance and analytics
Provider may use analytics and diagnostic tools to measure feature use, diagnose errors, understand performance, and improve MSC Central. These tools may process device, browser, app, event, and pseudonymous account or installation identifiers. Provider does not use MSC Central analytics for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Technology vendors
Provider may use vendors for cloud hosting, authentication, storage, security, communications, analytics, and similar technical functions. Those vendors may set or read cookies or comparable identifiers only as needed to provide their contracted functions and are subject to applicable confidentiality, security, and data-protection obligations.
4. Your choices
You can control many cookies through your browser settings and can clear local browser storage. Mobile operating systems also provide controls for permissions, identifiers, and some analytics settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may sign you out or prevent features from functioning.
5. Retention
Session technologies generally expire when a session ends. Persistent technologies remain until their configured expiration, until they are replaced, or until you clear them. Analytics and security records may be retained as described in the MSC Central Privacy Notice.
6. Updates
This policy may be updated when MSC Central’s technologies or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current revision.
7. Contact
For questions about MSC Central’s use of cookies and similar technologies, contact Provider at [email protected].
